First draft of 'Vanilla Ice Cream' done!

Finally got the comic to a stage I feel people wont go "I need XYZ ect. ect. in order to look at it". Its annoying but I get it. I suppose I would do the same thing. The thing that really gets to me though is the lack of feedback(as in none) I get from the public forums you would expect to get input from. Places like facebook and comic book forums for instance, these places are devoid of giving any sort of dialoge. However, its only when you go to places like Reddit or 4chan do you get a response. Kinda funny how that works out, friends and communities of common interest saying nothing while sites shrouded in anonymity being the most helpful. I guess thats one pro for anonymous based forums.

Now that I am at this stage I feel I have to knock on peoples doors to get more feed back. That means meeting up with friends for lunch and going to meetups in LA or SD. Basic socializing/networking now that I think about it as I am typing this up. I also looked into copyrights and still can't believe the processing time! 8 months! Whatever, I'll just need to find some more projects to work on to keep myself busy. Once I feel good about the amount of revisions I have gotten I'll move onto coloring which I dont believe will take too much time considering what I find appealing in comic book coloring is very simplistic. In the mean time, going to continue on improving my instagram game and finishing up old pieces in the sketch piles.
